  • Still Here, Just Bored With Blogging

So i've been a bit busy since I last posted in February...

G got a much better job in August.... In South Dakota! He moved out first, and Geo and I flew out to SD on August 13. We have a great little house, but I am posting this from an Ipod and have no idea how to link photos. I have some up on my Facebook page if you are interested.

Shortly after getting settled in here I gave birth to our son Jackson Emmanuel, who joined us on Sept. 3. He weighed in at 7 lbs, 1 oz, 19 in long. He's perfectly healthy and now weighs 8 lbs 4 oz. He's easygoing and cute as heck. And he is also a blondie like his brother.

What else could I write about? Such major changes.....

  • Ill and Slightly Broken

So I've been ill for a couple days.

G threw his back out this morning.

I got a call from Geo's Pre-School this morning at 11:00 a.m. asking me to come pick him up because he had a temperature of 100F.

    Poor us....

    :(

  • Busy

Today was the day. I bought maternity jeans. Not that I tried them on. No, that would have been too much.

  • Today was so nice that I actually walked to pick Geo up from Pre-School. And we walked home together, hand in hand. :)

  • Cooking Class

So I've mentioned my pregnancy and all that, so no surprises there anymore. I'm still in the middle of my retchy/gag phase. I mention this because my husband "bought" me some cooking classes at the culinary school in the next town over for my birthday, and now I'm not sure how I feel about "Morrocan" this Wednesday evening. Hmm. I can't even do a complete grocery shop because looking at all that food makes me ishy. Oh, this should be interesting to say the very least. I'm going, though. Damn it, I'm going!

  • Ice Rain

Honestly, I have no excuse not to write today. We are iced-in, me and GeoBoy, and he's happily rampaging in his room, so I have a little time here.

But boy do we have nasty weather! G walked into work today even though it is closed. Geo's pre-school was closed, too, which is unfortunate for me in one sense, and yet I feel some mom-and-Boy waffles are going to get made together this afternoon, too, which is a great thing.

As I ever-so-briefly mentioned in my last post, I am indeed pregnant with our second child. I have no news yet in terms of boy/girl, etc., so hold your pants on. I am due in August. We are all very happy and excited.

And yet I feel like throwing up much of the time, which certainly puts a damper on my life for the moment. Although this is temporary, it still sucks.

I also fell down my front stairs and broke my tail-bone three weeks ago. This has proven to make my life that much more complicated, especially with everything being crazy icy again.

There is a part of me that is super-tired of winter and being stuck inside the house with various "conditions", and there is a part of me that is perfectly happy to sit at home and veg for a month. I think this is as close to hibernation as I will ever come. I am a bit "bear-like" these days, one could certainly say.

    So what's up, Peeps?
